Call for Entry – “Complements to the Chef”, Venue: Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum
August 10 - August 17
Complements to the Chef
Food is grown, harvested, transported, purchased, prepared, cooked, served, and eaten. FRCQ artists are invited to explore any of these delicious stages. For example: a backyard herb garden, a baby’s face after eating blueberries, a field of corn, a stunning supermarket display, a fancy restaurant setting, a family meal, a simple cup of tea …..
For this show we are also encouraging use of complementary colors, overtly or subtly. The interactions of complementary colors can offer another layer of expression to the already rich and diverse narratives of food and people.
2-D artwork created since Jan. of 2020 is eligible for this show. Submissions should be 15-34 inches wide and 15 – 50 inches long.

Size images 72 dpi and 2100 pixels on the long side. Label full image with title, dimensions. Label detail image with title, detail. You may enter three works of art.
