Wen Redmond is a mixed media artist who delights in creating dialogue, changing your perspectives and perceptions of fiber. She works intuitively, encouraging ‘flow’, experimentation and the inner muse both in herself and her workshop participants. She has created several signature techniques; Digital Fiber, Holographic Images published in Quilting Arts Magazine with an appearance on Quilting Arts TV, and Serendipity Collage Technique published in Cloth Paper Scissors Magazine. She has two Interweave DVD Workshops, Holographic Memories and Textured Digital Photographs. Her book “Digital Fiber and Mixed Media” is available on Amazon
Wen’s work has been in galleries, juried, solo, and invitational shows including an invitation to The Museum of AQS Paducah,KY 1986, Quilt National, Art Quilt Elements, Visions, CA, Fiber Directions, Fiber Philadelphia, Columbia University, NYC, Rubin Gallery, Visions, Craft Boston, Niche Finalist 2008, 2010 and 2013, Dinner at Eight’s IQF, and in private and public collections, including Marvin Fletcher’s Quilt National Collection. She recently was award the Quilts Japan Award for her workThe Creative Hand exhibited at Quilt Visions in CA.

Please join this fun, lively artistic group of 250+ members. Our monthly meetings feature international, national or local speakers. Only members are eligible to participate in our dynamic workshops and excellent juried exhibitions. Membership dues are $35 a year and membership runs per calendar year. Membership in FRCQ includes all meetings, a high-quality monthly online newsletter, and eligibility to register for workshops. Visitors are welcome to the monthly meetings for a $10.00 fee.
