Tom Lundberg, tomlundberg.com
Tom Lundberg, professor of art at Colorado State University, presents a survey of contemporary art that incorporates textile methods and materials. The lecture looks at how textile traditions are reinterpreted and expanded in a wide variety of expressive forms.
Microcosms, a traveling exhibition of Lundberg’s work spanning 20 years, was on view during 2009 at the Knitting and Stitching Show expos in England and Ireland, and in 2010 at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. In May and June 2011, he will teach in CSU’s Study Abroad program in Tuscany.
