Elizabeth Barton explores the beauty of everyday environments. She uses her art to create a sense of memory and time and translates this into fiber with marvelous effects of light and color. Her work includes cityscapes, landscapes and abstracts that incorporate both unified composition and satisfying details. She enjoys working in a series, recently creating a series based on memories. She finds the quilt medium ideal for repetition and serialization.
