About the Artist
My art begins with a vision and ends in a story. Viewed through my eyes, events, people, places and things take on a new perspective. I capture those moments through the use of fabric, texture, stitching, patterns and color; binding them together to create a unique and individual story.
My goal is to evoke an emotional response from
people as they view my art. I feel successful when
the portrayal of the story within the art can be felt
by the viewer.

My medium is fabric, but I use all types of fiber that fit into an art quilt as it is developing. My primary technique is collage using gel medium to create a collage before I stitch. I hand dye and paint the fabric in addition to heavy stitching.
