I want my fiber art to attract the eye, intrigue the mind, and reflect what I am thinking about at the moment I am creating it. I have made several series about things I care about: the importance of women friends in my life), saving our environment, connections, games we all play and faces we wear. I also create pieces just for my own enjoyment where I experiment with combining a variety of mixed media techniques with old-fashioned hand stitching.

My life's mantra comes from The Fantastics – "Please God, please – don't let me be normal!" That's how I have lived my life and how I approach creating art. Hopefully, my work will continue to surprise and be unique in the field of fiber art.
