About the Artist
My love of creating has recently exploded after many years on the back burner. A career as a chef and an assortment of other jobs consumed much of my past. The work I do now is a source of real joy. I currently live in Elizabeth, Colorado and enjoy the beauty of a quickly changing rural community. The appreciation of the natural surroundings has been my inspiration. Although, my background as a foodie shows up as a trend in my work too.
I work in a variety of styles, primarily with commercial fabric used in fused applique. I enjoy adding detail and texture with heavy machine stitching.
